2. Booking Process
All bookings must be made through our official website. After completing your reservation, you will receive an email confirmation with the details of your rental. It is your responsibility to verify that all information provided (dates, vehicle type, pickup location, etc.) is correct.
3. Payment Policy
GoCar Romania offers flexible payment options, including debit card, credit card, and cash (where available). Some partners may require a small deposit or pre-authorization at the time of pickup. The amount of deposit depends on the car category and insurance type selected.
4. Driver Requirements
To rent a car in Romania, the driver must:
– Be at least 21 years old (age may vary by provider)
– Hold a valid driving license for at least 12 months
– Present a passport or national ID at pickup
– Provide a valid payment method (debit, credit, or cash, depending on policy)
5. Vehicle Collection and Return
The rental car must be collected and returned at the agreed location and time stated in your confirmation. Late returns may result in additional charges. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level unless otherwise specified.
6. Insurance and Coverage
All vehicles come with standard insurance (CDW). Optional full protection or Super CDW coverage is available to reduce your financial liability in case of damage or theft. Insurance terms and deductibles vary depending on the rental company and vehicle type.
7. Cancellations and Modifications
Bookings can be modified or canceled according to the policy stated on the booking page. Most reservations with GoCar Romania allow free cancellation before the pickup date. Please contact us promptly if you need to change your booking details.
8. Responsibilities of the Renter
The renter is responsible for:
• Following all local traffic laws and driving regulations
• Using the vehicle only for lawful personal or business purposes
• Reporting any accidents or damage to the provider immediately
• Returning the car in the same condition as received
9. Fuel Policy
Fuel policy depends on the selected offer. Most rentals operate on a “full-to-full” basis, meaning you receive the car with a full tank and must return it full. Failure to do so may result in refueling charges.
10. Liability
GoCar Romania is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or costs resulting from delays, mechanical issues, or disputes with third-party rental companies. Our role is limited to facilitating the booking process between the customer and provider.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect new policies or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on our website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services shall be resolved under Romanian jurisdiction.
